Description
The Government Information and Library Services division of the State Library of Oregon is happy to invite qualified candidates to apply for the position of Government Documents Librarian. This person will be primarily responsible for coordinating the Oregon Documents Program which includes acquisitions, evaluation of materials, cataloging, and preservation of the State of Oregon’s agency publications. Additionally this person will provide outreach and training and work closely with agency documents liaisons to ensure that all qualifying Oregon documents and publications are retained in the State Library’s Oregon Documents collection. This role includes duties in the Reference and Instruction programs and will provide regular reference and instruction service to state employees to empower state employees to better serve the people of Oregon.
