Duquesne University is one of America's leading Catholic universities and the nation's only Spiritan University.
Founded in 1878 by the Congregation of the Holy Spirit (the Spiritans) to educate to the children of struggling immigrant workers, Duquesne has established a legacy of excellence in liberal and professional education.
Today, we are a nationally ranked top-tier university situated on 50 acres comprising nine schools of study which serve nearly 9,500 students.
