TheGeorgia State University Library welcomes to our Alpharetta campus team aninnovative, collegial and service oriented colleague to: coordinate instructionfor the campus, be actively involved in outreach throughout the university,provide reference service in-person and online, facilitate course-integratedinstruction and resource guides, assist with developing the collection andactively engage and support the research, teaching and learning needs of thefaculty, staff and students on campus and community.

Environment

This position is based on GSU’s Alpharetta campus (http://perimeter.gsu.edu/about-perimeter-college/our-campuses/alpharetta/), located approximately 27 miles north of thedowntown Atlanta campus. Perimeter College () became a part of Georgia State University in January 2016,as part of a consolidation that formed the largest university in Georgia. Required Qualifications

ALA-accredited master’s degree in information/library science 
Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse library users andcolleagues

Salary and Rank

Salarycommensurate with the candidate’s education and experience. Appointment atfaculty rank (Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor) on a contract renewalbasis.
