Job Description

This position is part of a teamthat acquires, maintains, and assesses library collections in support oflearning, teaching, and research in alignment with the strategic directions ofthe campus and the Library.  Under thegeneral supervision of the Library Director, the Collections and TechnicalServices faculty member supports the learning and teaching goals of the campuscommunity through the life cycle management of print and electronic resourcesand the development and maintenance of local library technologies.  As tenure-track faculty, this librarian willdevelop and execute a research agenda and participate in the Libraries, campusand community service.   

WSU Vancouver Library supports theresearch and scholarship of the students and faculty at the Vancouvercampus.  The Library combines physicaland digital collections, robust document delivery services and user-focusedpublic services to continually build and adapt to WSU Vancouver’s dynamic andgrowing environment.  As part of the WSULibraries multi-campus system, collaboration and strong partnerships arecentral to our work.
